Kelly Kawaoka graduated from Iolani School and was a Serteen from 1996-1999. She served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer during her Serteen years. She attended Iolani School.
After Serteens, she attended UCLA for undergraduate study in Biochemistry with a specialization in computing. Kelly pursued her medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) and residency training in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics from Loma Linda University Medical Center. She completed a Masters in Public Health from Loma Linda University.
Kelly joined the advisor team in 2013 upon returning to Hawaii.
Her roles outside of Serteens include mom to 2 boys and primary care physician. She enjoys travel, community/population health, and community service while striving for continuous improvement (kaizen).
