Jared I. Kuroiwa graduated from ʻIolani School in 1989 and was a Serteen from 1985-1989. He served as President for two terms and Vice President of Sponsorship during his time as a member of the Serteens. Jared joined the advisor team in 1997 and is a charter member of the Honolulu Sertoma Club.
He says he was asked to check out the club at an event that George Carter had headlined on Oahu in the late 1990s, and enjoyed working with the Serteens so much that he’s stayed on since.
Jared earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1993 followed by an MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2001.
Professionally, Jared has worked in a number of technology leadership positions in a variety of fields including healthcare, academia, media, and human resources. Currently, he is the director of technology for the aio family of companies that includes radio stations, magazines, restaurants, software development, online marketing, and digital design.
